The Lemon Grove Lions Club announces its upcoming Salsa y Salsa Fiesta, taking place from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets for Foodie Fest are available at /ECFoodieFest. New this year is El Cajon’s Foodie Fest: Admission is $15 for ages 7 and older, and includes all-you-can-eat tastings from 10 to 15 of El Cajon’s favorite restaurants. The free, family-friendly event celebrates the city’s many diverse ethnic and historical groups and will have games, rides, crafts, food and drink vendors, live entertainment, a petting zoo and more. Saturday in the city’s downtown, on East Main Street and Rea Avenue, between Magnolia and Claydelle avenues. El Cajon’s annual “America on Main Street” festival takes place from 3 to 8 p.m.
